Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson grew growing up in Mexico with a family that was devoted to music. When she was a kid, she listened to a lot of classical music and older Boleros. In addition, she was a fan of the traditional romance ballads as well as ranchero. Ana loves opera and tangos, as well as all dramatic performances. Ana began learning to play the piano and sing at an early age alongside her mother. The formal training in singing at the age of 16 old under the famous Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. She continued her musical studies at the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and later to the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. As a student and when she was a professional young at the time in Mexico City and Guadalajara she performed with various chamber groups as well as choruses. After moving from Mexico to the United States around 2000, she performed with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She has performed solo Latin American music for private functions and as a member Ensemble XXI in Redlands. As a musician and teacher Ana is a dedicated participant in many projects in the community because of her love and love for music. Ana was also a member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana is privileged to be able share with others her passion for traditional Latin American music. She hopes that this will help younger generations keep the tradition alive.
